Hey Pete:)
It’s great to hear that you are having such a productive and satisfying time in Texas. Glad that there are opportunities to catch up with mates too – that must feel really nice.
Not long ’til the new book! Dunno about the cover though. Am not feeling very well and the pattern is of decidedly detrimental effect….Anyway, the cover’s significance shrivels in comparison to the illuminating and profound contents, saturated with integrity and the heart of Being!
(Well, obviously, I don’t know for sure if my comments on the new book are accurate. But I’d bet on it that they are, you wee genius, you!)

Really cool cover! The first thing I associated it with was Rob Bell’s latest, and then when I scrolled down there he is. I thing it looks excellent, it is rare to see such nicely designed christian type books.

Everything is black and white!
Except Peter Rollins.
Who is yellow.
And Heretics.
Who are red.
Hmmm… I get it. Deep. Bet all you other idiots feel pretty damn stupid now, don’t you!

There is no place that the settings “should be”. This all depends on the type of sound you are trying to achieve and where you are playing. Learning your amp through experimentation is part of learning your electric instrument. So try many different combinations of settings on both your amp and your instrument and take note of which sounds you might like for certain songs. In the end you just need to know that the audience heard the sound that you intended them to hear.
