The Fidelity of Betrayal tour: Update III

Here is a short excerpt of me from an evening in Greenwich where Tony Jones and I engaged in a public conversation together.

Obviously I don’t really look as crazy as this in real life…

Pete, as a friend, yes you do.

Ah no. Pete; you neither look crazy nor have crazy stuff to say. Absolutely the reverse in fact.

    ‘As a friend’? Don’t flatter yourself :)

Loved your thoughts on irony. I go to Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle where you will be in a little over a week, so I’m excited to hear more about this and other ideas when you speak at our school. I’ll make sure to introduce myself. I love your writing.

That is not how you looked at AAR. However, it is how I remember you from Greenbelt especially on Monday. ;-)

  6. Kester Says:

You said we were when we tubbed together. The betrayal of fidelity. I’m weeping now :-(

When you going to come to London town and talk? Or don’t we buy enough books to make that a possibility?

Pete, sorry to say, but, YES you do! LOL!!! Looking forward to seeing you in Richmond in February if we can get the dates nailed down with Aly! So good to hear your voice and see your funny moves!

Actually, in the anecdote about the Italian army going ‘over the top’ it’s interesting you describe the guy giving the order as ‘the head of the army’. Did you not think about brushing up on military rank and hierarchical structure before employing this anecdote? No? Good for you.

Pete, please can we have some more videos of yourself? Would be good:)

Turn the sound off and it looks like you are conducting an orchestra…

I turned the sound on…and loved your discussion.
